IPL 2015 - Match 3 - KXIP vs RR

The game was played in Pune,India between "Kings XI Punjab" vs "Rajasthan Royals." It wasn't a home ground for any of the teams. KXIP won the toss and elected to ball first.
RR scored a 4 just off the first ball. But RR lost its first wicket at the start of the second over. And soon another wicket fell as Samson was given out for LBW. Now, there were 2 new bat's man on the pitch. Karun came in and looked in good form, but was clean bowled. Smith carried the team to a score of 75 with his contribution of 33 but lost his wicket to Peterson. Soon, went Binny as his partner left . Faulkner played great an carried the team to a total of 162.


Now it was time for KXIP to bat. And guess what, one of the best player Sehwag lost his wicket of the first ball. Vijay carried the load of the team as Saha got out at 7 runs. Maxwell too got out at 7 runs as Scuthee took a great caught. KXIP was in trouble, as they lost Vijay too. The game was about to end as just 12 balls were left and KXIP needed 41 runs off it. And they lost by 26 runs.

IPL 2015 - Match 2 - CSK vs DD

The game had a great start as CSK (Chennai Super Kings) came in to bat first. Simth and McCullum were the opening pair. They scored 16 runs in the first over. It was a cracking start. But McCullum was soon dismissed by Coulter-Nile. Raina came in and went back, as he was bowled by Coulter-Nile too. Du Plessis came in and carried the team with Smith. But Smith was soon dismissed by Tahir at a score of 34 of 31 balls. And Du Plessis was caught on the boundary. Now, it was Dhoni and Jadeja - a complete new pair. CSK needed a good partnership but Jadeja was soon dismissed by Amit. Bravo came and went, he just scored a run. Than, Ashwini and Dhoni carried the team to 146. The innings ended with a scorc of 150 on board.

Now, it was DD (Delhi Daredevils) turn to bat. DD tired to start strong but lost 2 wickets in just 3 overs. Iyer came and went in the fifth over. There run rate was 6 per over but the required run rate was 8 by the 10 over and they continued to loss wickets. And were soon down by 6 at a score of 106 in 15 overs. They now required 45 runs from 36 balls now. But, they kept losing wickets and were down by 9 wickets by 19.3 overs. They needed 14 from 3 balls now. Morkel came in as the hope for the team and hit a 6 of the first ball, now it was down to 8 from 2 balls. He ran for 2 runs bringing the total to 145. It was 6 from 1 ball. They crowd was tensed and the ball took a flight, DD fans were happy but it just bounced off the ground a 2 feet before the boundary.

IPL 2015 - Match 1 - KKR vs MI

The nations united once again. The opening match of IPL 2015 turned out to be a great match between Kolkata Knight Rider(KKR) and Munbai Indians(MI). Match was played at Eden Garden in Kolkata. The stadium was completely filled with audience more than 50,000. KKR won the toss and elected to ball first.
As MI came to bat, they looked in great form. But despite of that Finch was dismissed by Morne Morkel. As MI started to get back on their legs that lost another wicket of Aditya Tare. And on the next ball, they lost another wicket of Ambati Rayudu. And Anderson came in. MI looked in trouble but captain Rohit Sharma carried the team from then. Rohit scored a 98 runs of just 65 balls. Anderson scored 55 of just 41 balls. They played a partnership of 131 runs.
Now, it was KKR turn to bat and try to win the match as they played in there home-ground. Captain Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa came in for the opening. Uthappa was dismissed in second over by Anderson. And Manish Pandey came in to bat. Gautam And Manish played a partnership of 85 runs from 55 balls. But Manish Pandey was dismissed at 40 runs from 24 balls. Suryakumar Yadav came into bat. And Soon Captain Gautam scored at half century from just 38 balls. But he was dismissed at 57 runs by Bumrah. Yusuf came in and KKR raced to victory. And Morne Morkel was declared MAN OF THE MATCH for his balling figures.
