IPL 2015 - Match 1 - KKR vs MI



The nations united once again. The opening match of IPL 2015 turned out to be a great match between Kolkata Knight Rider(KKR) and Munbai Indians(MI). Match was played at Eden Garden in Kolkata. The stadium was completely filled with audience more than 50,000. KKR won the toss and elected to ball first.
As MI came to bat, they looked in great form. But despite of that Finch was dismissed by Morne Morkel. As MI started to get back on their legs that lost another wicket of Aditya Tare. And on the next ball, they lost another wicket of Ambati Rayudu. And Anderson came in. MI looked in trouble but captain Rohit Sharma carried the team from then. Rohit scored a 98 runs of just 65 balls. Anderson scored 55 of just 41 balls. They played a partnership of 131 runs.
Now, it was KKR turn to bat and try to win the match as they played in there home-ground. Captain Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa came in for the opening. Uthappa was dismissed in second over by Anderson. And Manish Pandey came in to bat. Gautam And Manish played a partnership of 85 runs from 55 balls. But Manish Pandey was dismissed at 40 runs from 24 balls. Suryakumar Yadav came into bat. And Soon Captain Gautam scored at half century from just 38 balls. But he was dismissed at 57 runs by Bumrah. Yusuf came in and KKR raced to victory. And Morne Morkel was declared MAN OF THE MATCH for his balling figures.
